I didn’t want the typical crowded trail, so Majestic Trails Nepal suggested the Tsum Valley Trek, and wow — it was everything I didn’t know I needed. The landscapes were rugged, wild, and spiritual. My guide Kaji Sherpa and porter Lakpa Tamang were true professionals. Kaji’s mountain stories kept the trail lively, and Lakpa carried my heavy pack with a smile every day. We laughed over dal bhat, listened to monks at Rachen Gompa, and even spotted Himalayan blue sheep. The trek felt raw and authentic — no Wi-Fi, no rush, just nature and ancient culture. The route was challenging in parts, but Majestic Trails’ pacing made it doable and enjoyable. The attention to detail and local connection made a big difference.
