Founded by a Guide Who Started at the Bottom

Majestic Trails Nepal was founded by Bibek Dhamala, a licensed trekking guide from Dhading who began his career as a porter. His very first trek was the Langtang Valley — carrying loads up trails he had never seen, learning the mountains the hard way.

After more than two years as a porter on most of Nepal's classic routes, Bibek earned his government trekking guide license (License No. 19911) and went on to guide across the Langtang, Annapurna, Everest, and Manaslu regions. Having worked every role on the trail, he started Majestic Trails Nepal with a clear purpose: to run treks where guides and porters are treated fairly, and where travelers receive the honest, personal service that only comes from someone who has done every job on the mountain.
