Celebrating a Birthday in the Himalayas – A Surprise to Remember!

We celebrated Mia’s birthday during the trek — and Bishal somehow arranged a mini cake at the teahouse! The Langtang trail was quieter than expected and so scenic. When Steve struggled with breathing one day, Bishal adjusted our plan without hesitation. The porters — Deepak and buddha— were absolute stars. The owner’s personal welcome and goodbye added a personal touch you just don’t get elsewhere.

Trek Solo, Never Alone – What an Experience!

I joined a small group through Majestic Trails and had the time of my life. Dipesh was energetic and fun, always cracking jokes but very serious about safety. My porter Krishna carried extra snacks for me. I never felt like I was solo. And yes, the owner met us both before and after — even shared tea with us in Thamel. I’m planning to return next spring for the Annapurna Circuit, and I know who I’m booking with!

Around day 4, my husband started feeling dizzy near Langtang village. Ram immediately recognized the signs of AMS, gave garlic soup, and advised us to rest. His calm attitude made us feel safe. Langtang Trek with Friends – Laughter, Flexibility, and Lifelong Memories

We were a group of 6 friends and had an amazing time with Dorje Sherpa. From trail facts to choosing the coziest teahouses, he nailed it. Our porter Lhakpa was always smiling and motivated us on steep climbs. One of us had knee pain, and they quickly arranged a walking stick and adjusted the pace. Majestic Trails even let us shift the trek date last minute. You don’t find this kind of flexibility everywhere.
