Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our representative from majestictrailsnepal. After hotel check-in, enjoy a short briefing about the tour. You may explore Thamel or visit Boudhanath Stupa in the evening, a great introduction to Nepal’s Buddhist side.

Day 2 : Fly or Drive to Lumbini

After breakfast, we either take a scenic flight or a drive to Lumbini, located in the Terai plains. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take a peaceful walk around the Lumbini Garden. Witness the calm environment and prepare for your full-day exploration the next day.

Day 3 : Full-Day Lumbini Exploration

This day is fully dedicated to exploring the sacred land of Lumbini. We begin with a visit to the Mayadevi Temple, where Buddha was born. You’ll see the exact marker stone and bas-relief depicting the birth. Next, visit the Ashokan Pillar, erected in 249 BC by Emperor Ashoka. Explore the Sacred Garden, and the flame of eternal peace.
In the afternoon, visit the monasteries in the Monastic Zone, each reflecting different architectural styles and cultures. End your day with meditation near the Bodhi Tree as monks chant in harmony. The day concludes with a spiritual refreshment that stays with you forever.

Day 4 : Return to Kathmandu & Departure

After breakfast, return to Kathmandu via flight or drive. Depending on your flight schedule, we can organize a short visit to Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) or Patan Buddhist Monastery before your international departure.
